Overcrowding/Scenery
Overcrowding is quite a problem in many RPg’s. Overcrowding is when the game creator adds too much scenery to their game.
Here is an example of overcrowding:

Though this map looks pretty, there is too much going on with the scenery.
As said above, scenery does make your game look good. This makes the game a bit more realistic and nice to look at. This map was actually used as an example map for a tutorial. This map contains too many random objects. Not only does this make the game look sloppy, it makes it hard to navigate.
If your game has so many random trees, rocks, flowers, etc.; try taking them out in some parts where it looks unnatural.
Also, remember never to have natural objects in squares. This looks unnatural and awkward. If this occurs, make some space between these objects. Remember that things in nature are not in perfect shapes. Some of the only times that perfect shapes shoud be used are when they are altered by man or are set as a barrier.
